Not every order needs full customization. A fixed grade is usually fastest; a selectable range gives more process control; a fully custom grade is appropriate when a specific impurity or performance target cannot be met otherwise.
Consider annual volume, trial budget, process risk, target chemistry and whether the requirement is stable enough for repeat production.
